Turn the Tide Portishead

WHO ARE WE

Firstly we are still here! things were a bit quiet in 2020 and early 2021 as we settled into a new way of meeting our mission.  We are now meeting again in person after many months of Zoom meetings and we are as active in the community; but maybe more behind the scenes and in the shadows!

We are still hosting Portishead Big Cleans which involve you the lovely people of Portishead, but within your households.  This event has been a great success and will continue on - see Events page for dates to the end of 2021..

We are 'still' despite 2020/1..an enthusiastic bunch of volunteers, working within the Portishead Community to tackle marine pollution and litter in general.  You can see us around Portishead litter  picking alone or with a friend (all within the rules at the time).

We are actively looking for new Members to join us.  The Volunteers Group will meet once a month for a social from November 2021 and to discuss what's going on and how you can get involved, there will also be a quick update from the smaller Committee (max 7), who run the official meetings and keep the finances in order amongst other things!

Please contact us if you would like to join. We would LOVE to see you!
