Turn the Tide Portishead
WHO ARE WE
Firstly we are still here! things were a bit quiet in 2020 as we settled into a new way of meeting our mission. We are continuing as a team, meeting via Zoom and we are as active in the community; but maybe more behind the scenes and in the shadows!
When able, we meet as a committee or part of, to litter pick (obeying all covid rules). We are also hosting Portishead Big Cleans which involve you the lovely people of Portishead, but within your households. January was a great success - watch this space for the next Big Clean Event.
We are 'still' despite 2020..an enthusiastic bunch of volunteers, working within the Portishead Community to tackle marine pollution and litter in general. You can see us around Portishead litter picking alone or with a friend (all within the rules at the time) and WE WILL BE BACK at community events when we can.
